*** STOP PRESS *** ICTL London Launch *** Thursday 4th May

Last month saw the launch of the ICTL Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Applications of ICT in Libraries in London which was a great success. The delegates who attended were very impressed with the course information presented by Rhona Arthur, Assistant Director of SLIC, Bob Marren, Business Development Manager for SQA and Ted Hastings, Director of Distance Learning Programs at LGSM.

Many of you expressed regret on not being able to attend this event, hence we are writing to inform you of another presentation to be held in London on 4th May 2006.

Millennium City Academy, an associate college of London Graduate School of Management, is the first centre to be granted approval to run these courses, which we will be offering on a distance learning basis, with online support. These qualifications are based on the training already carried out during the Peoples Network programme. They have been developed by the Scottish Library and Information Council (SLIC) and Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA).

You can find further information on the courses on our website http://www.lgsm.ac/

We would also like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to you or your representative to attend our official launch at our head office at 76-78 Mortimer Street, W1W 7SA.

Once again Rhona Arthur, Bob Marren and Ted Hastings will be on hand to introduce the qualifications, outline content and delivery mechanisms and to answer any questions you may have. The details are:
